The Head is made of High carbon steel, and the pole of Tempered Hardwood and is put together with Screws, Epoxy, and Jute. The Pole has been stain 2 times and polyurethane 3 times for superior protection and waterproofness. This spear has also been sign with the makers mark. This is not just an Animal Ready Spear, it is a Dragon Ready Spear.
