Carbon 60 99.95% Powder 1 Gram Vial C60 fullerenes
Contents: 1 gram Carbon 60: 99.9% or higher. Features: Carbon 60: 99.9% powder. Packaged in a light blocking brown glass 5g bottle with 1g C60 inside. Finely ground to dissolve better. Tap the vial on a table before opening to get all the C60 to the bottom. Dissolve the C60 powder in Olive, Coconut, Avocado, Hemp, MCT or similar oil. Carbon 60 is NOT water soluble. Dissolve 1 gram carbon 60 in 1.2 liters of oil to achieve a concentration of 82mg/100ml. Like dissolving salt in water, only about 90mg/100ml C60 will reliably dissolve in Olive oil. Trying to get to full saturation results in wasted undissolved solids in the oil. Recent lots have dissolved so well that the 22um vacuum filter was still good after filtering 5 liters. A magnetic stirrer is recommended, but periodic hand stirring may be sufficient to dissolve the C60. Vacuum is not required, it just speeds up the transfer through the filter. Centrifuge is not required when the C60 is fully dissolved in oil there are no left over particles. Less refined Fullerene products containing excess C70 and C80 are less expensive, but not recommended for use. Buckyballs: The Buckminsterfullerene Buckeyball is a molecule of 60 Carbon Atoms.
